Valérie DONIO

Associate Director Public Health

ValĂ©rie DONIO holds a post-graduate degree in public health research (UniversitĂ© de Bordeaux II, Victor Segalen) and a master’s degree in health economics (University of Paris Dauphine). She completed, in 2018, an Executive Master’s degree in “Health Management and Policies” at Sciences Po Paris (Sciences Po / Didier Tabuteau’s Chair). She coordinates projects focusing on managed care/health care systems at CEMKA. Associate Director of the CEMKA Public Health Unit, she manages these projects and is in charge of internal and external evaluations for more than 18 years. She has an extensive experience in the evaluation of health policies, programs and actions (French National Plans on cancer, on occupational health, regional public health programs, huge prevention platform, etc.), and of health care networks (diabetes, drug abuse, alcoholism, cancer, obesity, etc.). Before joining CEMKA, ValĂ©rie Donio was in charge of a study in the economic evaluation department of the French Health Accreditation and Assessment Agency (ANAES). She participated in the development and publication of the guidelines on methods of evaluation of health care delivery systems that is now used as an authoritative guide in France. She is a member of the French Society of Evaluation (SFE) and of the French Society of Public Health (SFSP).
