Market Access & Pricing Co-Director
Alain ESTIVAL is Co-Director of the Market Access & Pricing Department for Medicines, Vaccines and Medical Devices at CEMKA. He is particularly involved in the preparation and writing of reimbursement and pricing dossiers. Since his arrival at CEMKA in 2014, Alain ESTIVAL has worked in several therapeutic areas (oncology, ophthalmology, infectiology, allergology, addictology, neurodegenerative diseases, cardiovascular diseases, rare diseases). He has been involved throughout those projects from the strategic thinking up to file submission and follow-up of the HTA assessments (comments on HTA appraisal report and preparation of hearings). In the framework of his activity he has worked with claim databases (answer to French HTA request, use of this data to support price negotiation).
Alain ESTIVAL is a pharmacist (Dijon University) with a Master Degree in Heath economics and Market Access (Dauphine University) and an inter-university diploma in Biostatistics (DIU- CESAM University Paris 6). Before joining CEMKA in 2014, Alain had been working in pharmaceutical companies for almost fifteen years in the field of clinical research (including also 1 year in Pharmacovigilance) in various therapeutic areas (mainly, cardiovascular diseases, anesthesia, depression, and Women Health).
